Low and Mid-Rise Solutions from Morning Star Lift and Elevator
The Alliance EDGE™ Gearless MRL Package
The Alliance EDGE™ Gearless MRL from Morning Star Lift and Elevator likes tight spaces. The EDGE™ boasts the smallest hoistway configuration available in the non-proprietary market. The Alliance team didn’t forget about the Independent Elevator Contractor during the design, the contractor can take advantage of the EDGE™’s tight overhead clearances, written step-by-step instructions and the convenience of streamline ordering.

The ADVANTAGE™ Hydraulic Package
The Advantage Hydraulic Elevator Package from Morning Star Lift and Elevator has been religiously tested, not just in laboratory type settings, but in real hoist ways all over the Mid Atlantic. AES has harnessed knowledge, once known as tribal, of seasoned mechanics to deliver a trouble-free installation. We have engineered time saving features such as: detailed work instructions, pit templates, plug and play traveler and top of car harnesses, and a pre-hung door operator to name a few.
The REGEN™ Hydraulic Package
As Alliance grew into modernization packages our elevator gurus quickly realized, sometimes a complete elevator package is just too much. After burning through hours of daylight in the darkest hoistways and surveying the tightest machine rooms, Alliance engineers developed components that can be inserted into almost ANY manufacture’s elevator package. Though Alliance relies on a solid survey performed by trained independent contractor our APLUS configurator can offer instant pricing. Alliance is proud to be the only independent elevator manufacture in the US to offer this benefit to their customer. It’s good to be in the cool club! Ask our team at Morning Star Lift and Elevator how we can solve your problems with excellent solutions and service.

Hoistway dimensions are minimum clear inside requirements. Shorter installation times can be obtained by increasing these dimensions by up to 2″. For seismic zone 2 and up, add 4″ to hoistway width to comply with Code requirements. Use of 8mm and 10mm ropes for traction elevator was approved by A17.6-2010 effective 1st July 2010.

When you choose Canton Elevator from Morning Star Lift and Elevator, you can be certain that your building’s integrity will be enhanced with an elevator of superior quality.
Canton Elevator’s hydraulic elevator systems are fulfilling vertical transportation needs in thousands of installations nationwide and overseas.
Quality is the driving force behind every elevator we manufacture. Every major component in our elevator systems has been engineered and qualified in accordance with the industry’s highest standards. The result is a trouble-free installation from a company that stands behind our product.
In Ground
Traditional design utilizing a single hydraulic jack, which is located directly under the platform and installed in the ground.

Advantages:
- Generally the least expensive and easiest to install.
- Offered in both low and high capacity elevators.
- Accommodates front and rear opening configurations.
- Minimal pit and overhead requirements.
Disadvantages:
- The jack must be buried into the ground roughly the same distance as the overall travel. Drilling a hole can be expensive and difficult depending on ground water and bedrock.
- Possible ground contamination from oil leak (sealed PVC recommended to prevent contamination).
